SOUTHERN INDIANA FAB FEST 2006
When
the wheeling season is almost here, and you really need to get those last
minute projects done, what do you do? Why, head to the Southern Indiana Fab
Fest thats what!
The
Southern Indiana Fab Fest (or just Fab Fest as it is known) was started by
Ranger Rick Hall back in 2000 and has been a annual spring gathering of
Suzuki fans ever since. Held every year over Memorial Day weekend, a great
time of food, fellowship, wrenching and wheeling make this a great late
spring get together.
This
years Fab Fest was hosted by the Bedford Boys 4x4 club at the home of Nick
Sipes, and featured T-case gears and rear locker install on a Sport Kick , a
few new bumpers for some Samurais, and a really pimp new shifter that sure
to be the hit of the trials this summer, and was capped off by a trail run
on Sunday.
Burgers
and Dogs were grilled up by our host on Saturday night, and Sundays trail
run provided lots of entertainment and a chance to try out some of those new
repairs.
So
mark your calendars for next year and be sure to check out the Southern
Indiana Fab Fest and get your summer started off right!
