with Jim and Danielle Bova photos by Daxe Rexford
New England Fab-fest 2002, the pictorial. Thank you Jim and Danielle for sharing this adventure with us at the last minute. Received an email last night from Jim asking if we would like an article from this Fab-fest, told him you bet but the dead line is the 30th. Jim and Danielle in true Zooki fashion did not let a little dead line detour them. Had this article in the email when I got home from work today.
The tradition started last year by Glenn “Wildweasel” Loud continued this year on July 20-21 as Tom”tkat2k” McDaniel hosted Fab-Fest 2002. As with most Zooki events this has grown and grown. Projects included a rear locker, EFI install, and a SPOA with rear disk brakes, and P/S install.
The host cookin’ up some grub.
Tom’s rig gets a locker.

Dean’s Zuke under went some major changes. He did a SPOA, using full rear and front ends set up with gears, added P/S and all the stuff that goes along with it, like shock relocation and removing all the old stuff. The rear end was also set up with disc brakes so that was all made to work. Sometimes the shackle bolts are not very co-operative.
Tim uses the plasma cutter to take off the old shock mounts.
How many Zukers does it take to take off a u-bolt? From this picture it looks like 3 but there was actually 4.
Another project was Justin removing his Weber and swapping in a FI with the harness

Getting a closer look of the situation.
